Lotus stem chips
Ingredients
- Lotus stems (chips shaped circles) 1 big cup
- Hung curd (fresh) 1/2 cup
- chilly powder 1 tsp
- Mutton masala powder 1 tbsp
- Corn flour 1/2 cup
- Sugar a pinch
- Salt to taste
Remove skin from the lotus stems with a peeler and cut in to round circles. Take a mixing bowl, add lotus rings, hung curd, chilly powder, masala powder, corn flour, sugar and salt and mix well. Heat oil in a pan for deep fry. When done fry marinated lotus rings in the oil till golden brown and crisp. Serve hot as a snack.
