Dhokla
Ingredients:
1. Suji (rava):
1 cup
2. Fresh curd (dahi):
1 cup
3. Lemon (juice):
1/2lemon
4. Sugar:
1/4tsp
5. Ginger (grated):
1tsp
6. Salt:
to taste
7. Fruit salt (Eno lemon
flavour): 1sachet (5grams)
8. Mustard:
1tsp
9. Curry leaves:
20
10. Red chilies (whole):

11. Turmeric powder:

Process:
Mix suji, curd, sugar, ginger, lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric powder
and salt in a bowl.Mix well keep it aside for half an hour. Add little
water if required. The consistency of the batter should be just
like Idli batter. Ready the steamer or rice cooker, take a bowl and
grease it with little oil. Add eno in the batter and mix well, pour the
batter into the bowl and keep it in the steamer immediately.Let it steam
for 10 to 15 minutes, check it and remove from the steamer. Let it cool, cut into
squares and keep aside. Take a pan and pour 1tsp oil and let it heat then add
mustard, curry leaves and red chillies and fry till done and add it to the
square shaped dhokla pieces. Tasty tasty attractive dhokla is ready to eat.
