Bread snack

Bread snack

Ingredients

  1. Bread or brown bread                            4slices
  2. Cream(malai)                                         3tbsp
  3. Onion(chopped)                                     2tbsp
  4. Spring onion(chopped)                           1tbsp
  5. Tomato(chopped)                                   1tbsp
  6. Fresh coriander(chopped)                      1tbsp
  7. Suji(ravva)                                              1tsp
  8. Pepper powder                                       1/2tsp
  9. Salt                                                          to taste
                         

Process

Take a bowl and mix all the above ingredients except bread. Now take a tawa, heat it, keep the bread slices on the tawa. Apply the mixture on the fried side of the bread slice.Let it fry till golden brown(both the sides). Delicious, tasty bread snack is ready to serve.

Papad snack

Papad snack

Ingredients

  1. Gujarati papad                             1
  2. Onion(chopped)                          1tsp
  3. Tomato(chopped)                        1tsp
  4. Coriander(chopped)                    1tsp
  5. Black salt                                     a pinch
  6. Lemon juice                                 few drops
                             

Process

Fry papad in oil or bake in microwave oven. Sprinkle the mixture of  
onion, tomato and coriander on the papad.Sprinkle black salt and lemon juice on the papad and yummy papad snack is ready to eat.

Ingredients


  1. Boiled eggs                              4no.s
  2. Onions(chopped)                     2tbsp
  3. Tomatoes(chopped)                 2tbsp
  4. Coriander(chopped)                 2 tbsp
  5. Green chilies(chopped)            1tsp
  6. Salt and pepper                         1tsp each
  7. chilly sauce and tomato sauce  1tsp each

                              

Process

Take a pan add 1tsp oil with a pinch of salt and turmeric powder.Fry boiled eggs in the above pan for 2minutes in a low flame, take out and let it cool, cut each egg into 4slices.Arrange all the egg slices in a plate. Sprinkle pepper and salt on the egg slices, apply the mixture of both the sauces on the egg slices. Finally put the 1tsp mixture of onion, tomato, Green chilies and coriander on each egg slice and the tasty egg snack is ready to eat.

Ravva Laddu


Ravva Laddu

Ingredients

  1. Ravva (suji)                            2 cups
  2. Coconut (grated)                    1 cup
  3. Sugar                                      1and1/2 cup
  4. Ghee                                       

Process

Take sugar in a bowl. Take a pan, pour 4tbsp ghee and let it melt. Now add ravva and fry it till golden yellow in a low flame. When the colour of the ravva changes add to the sugar. Fry grated coconut with 2tbsp ghee for 2-3 min, add to the mixture of sugar and ravva. Mix all the ingredients and make round laddus of the mixture.

 Karepaku perugu chicken


                         

    Ingredients

  1. Chicken                                  500 gms
  2. Onions(chopped)                    200 gms
  3. Green chilies(chopped)          10 no.s
  4. Karepaku(curry leaves)          5 branches
  5. Curd(fresh)                             1 cup
  6. Khus Khus                              1tbsp
  7. Cashew nuts                            20 no.s
  8. Cloves                                     4 no.s
  9. Cardamoms                             4 no.s
  10. Dalchini                                   1 inch piece
  11. Chakra phool                           1/2 
  12. Chili powder                            as required
  13. Sugar                                        1/4 tsp 
  14. Salt                                           to taste
  15. Kasoori methi                           2 tsp
  16. Ginger and garlic paste            1 tbsp




 Process

Take a nonstick cooker, 1 tbsp oil, G&G paste and fry it for 5 min . Add chicken, chili powder, salt and cook in low flame till the chicken is done. Take another pan, oil, chilies, chopped karepaku, a paste of  ginger, garlic, khus khus, cashew, cloves, cardamoms, dalchini and chakra phool. Fry in low flame for 10-15 min, add fried onions and fry all the above ingredients finely for 2-3 min and add cooked chicken, chili powder, salt, sugar, curd. Mix well and add 3cups of water, cook for half an hour in low flame and finally add kasoori methi and  medium thick gravy perugu chicken is ready as shown in the picture.

Mustard fish

Mustard fish

Ingredients:

  1. Fish                                 6 pieces
  2. Mustard oil                     3 tbsp
  3. Mustard                          1 tbsp
  4. khus khus                       1 tbsp
  5. Garlic(flakes)                 15 no.s
  6. Onion                              2 big sized
  7. Tomato                           1 big sized
  8. Green chilies(sliced)       6 no.s
  9. Curd(fresh)                     1 cup
  10. Turmeric powder            1/2 tsp                  
  11. Garam masala                 1tsp
  12. Sugar                               a pinch
  13. Salt                                  to taste
                          

Process:

Take a pan add mustard oil, fish, a pinch salt and turmeric powder and allow it to fry for 10 minutes in low flame and keep aside. Make a paste of mustard, khus khus, 8 garlic flakes and 1 onion.
Take a pan pour 2 tbsp f mustard oil fry onion slices and add the paste and toss it finely. Add the remaining garlic flakes, sliced chilies and sliced tomatoes , fry it for 10 minutes and add curd. Now add salt, sugar and garam masala powder and add fried fish . Cook for 10-15 minutes till the fish is done with thick gravy as shown in the picture.The delicious Mustard fish is ready to eat.

Mustard chicken with honey and cream

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (medium sized)                                  250grams
  • Mustard powder(fresh)                                    2tbsp
  • Lemon juice                                                     2tbsp
  • Soya sauce                                                       2tbsp
  • Chilly flakes(crushed)                                      1tbsp
  • garlic paste(fresh)                                           1and 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt                                                                  to taste
  • Cream                                                             1tbsp
  • Butter                                                              2tbsp
  • Honey                                                              3tbsp
  • Oil                                                                    1tsp
                              

Process:

Take a bowl, marinate chicken with mustard powder, lemon juice, soya sauce, chilly flakes,garlic paste and salt. Keep it aside for an hour. Take a pan, add butter, oil and let it heat. Add marinated chicken and mix well. Cook for 10 minutes. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 10 minutes, add water (1cup). Cook till the chicken is done. Cook till the water evaporates and add cream . Add honey and mix well.Fry it for 2to3 minutes  and the yummy mustard chicken with cream and honey is ready to eat.

Natukodi masala (country chicken masala)

Ingredients:

  1. Country chicken                1/2kg
  2. Onion(medium size)           5
  3. Green chillies                     6
  4. Ginger                                1/2inch
  5. Chilli powder                     1and1/2 tsp
  6. Chicken masala                 1tsp
  7. Sugar                                  a pinch
  8. Turmeric powder                1/4 tsp
  9. Salt                                     to taste
  10. Oil                                       3 tbsp
  11. Biryani leaves                      2
  12. Ghas Ghas(khus khus)        1 and 1/2 tsp




   


Process:


Make a paste of onion, ginger, ghas ghas, green chillies . Take a pan, heat oil and add biryani leaves and paste . Fry well for 5 minutes and add chicken, salt, sugar, turmeric powder, chilli powder, chicken masala . Fry well in a low flame for 20 minutes and then add required water and cook well till the chicken is done and gravy becomes thicker . Finally spicy natukodi masala is ready to serve .  

                               

                       

Kodi kalu fry

Kodi kalu fry (chicken joint roast) (without oil) 

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken leg piece                4
  2. Lemon juice                        1/2 lemon
  3. curd                                     2tbsp
  4. Salt                                      to taste
  5. Sugar                                   a pinch
  6. China salt                            1/4tsp
  7. Black salt                            1/2tsp
  8. Chat masala                        1/2tsp
  9. Dhania powder                    1/2tsp
  10. Jeera powder                       1/2tsp
  11. Chicken masala                   1/2tsp
  12. Garam masala                      1/2tsp
  13. Chilli powder                        1tsp
  14. Ginger & Garlic paste          1tsp
  15. Pepper powder                     1/4tsp



Process:




Take a bowl, mix all the above ingredients and apply on the chicken leg piece . Marinate it for about an hour . Preheat the oven . Keep the leg pieces in the oven(grill mode) and chicken roast is ready to eat, serve hot .

Dhokla

Dhokla

Ingredients:
1.     Suji (rava):                              1 cup
2.     Fresh curd (dahi):                    1 cup    
3.     Lemon (juice):                         1/2lemon
4.     Sugar:                                     1/4tsp
5.     Ginger (grated):                        1tsp
6.     Salt:                                          to taste
7.     Fruit salt (Eno lemon flavour):    1sachet (5grams)
8.     Mustard:                                   1tsp
9.     Curry leaves:                             20
10. Red chilies (whole):                   5 
11. Turmeric powder:                      a pinch





Process:
Mix suji, curd, sugar, ginger, lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric powder and salt in a bowl.Mix well keep it aside for half  an hour. Add little water if required. The consistency of the batter should be just like Idli batter. Ready the steamer or rice cooker, take a bowl and grease it with little oil. Add eno in the batter and mix well,  pour the batter into the bowl  and keep it in the steamer immediately.Let it steam for 10 to 15 minutes, check it and remove from the steamer. Let it cool, cut into squares and keep aside. Take a pan and pour 1tsp oil and let it heat then add mustard, curry leaves and red chillies and fry till done and add it to the square shaped dhokla pieces. Tasty tasty attractive dhokla is ready to eat.

Indian Spicy Macaroni




Ingredients:
  1.  Macaroni:                        1cup
  2.  Onion(chopped):             1/4th cup
  3.  Tomato(chopped):           3big size
  4.  Green peas:                    few
  5.  Cauliflower(chopped):     1/8th cup
  6.  Capsicum(chopped):       1/4th cup
  7.  Chilli powder:                  1tsp
  8.  Garam masala powder:   1tsp
  9.  Turmeric powder:            1/4tsp                                       10. Ginger garlic paste:       1tsp                                        11. Fresh cream:                 2tbsp
12. Cheese (grated):            2tbsp
13. Sugar:                            a pinch
14. Salt:                                 to taste

Process:
  Take a pressure cooker, heat 2tbsp oil, add chopped onions and fry till golden brown , add ginger garlic paste mix well and fry for 2 minutes, add all the veggies and fry for 2 minutes, add tomatoes and fry for 2 minutes.
   Add chilli, turmeric, Garam masala, sugar and salt. Add 2 cups of water and let it boil, when the water starts boiling add macaroni and close lid of the cooker without weight, cook for 2 minutes in high flame and then simmer the flame for 10 minutes. Open the lid, add fresh cream and grated cheese and mix well. The yummy, spicy and delicious macaroni is ready to eat
